Trans in the Military Challenge Kick Off!

Run a race as a Transgender person in each branch of the U.S. Military? Sounds like a great idea to me! Also a challenge. And man do I love a challenge. Hence the name, the Challenge Enthusiast Blog.

In July 2023, I was recovering from a gender-affirming, wild ride, of top-surgery when I had the idea. I value the opportunity to serve. I always have since seeing the U.S. Coast Guard rescue families from their roof as water climbed to attics during one of the worst disasters in U.S. history, Hurricane Katrina. I also deeply value being Transgender.

I figured, what better way to physically embody both, value both, then showing both can inspirationally co-exist in the real world. That is where my idea started. So that is the plan my friends!
